TeamSnappers Talk: Meet Lavie Sak

Ask any TeamSnapper what they love about their work and you’ll hear a common answer: “The people.” And since we spend a massive amount of time connecting with our colleagues, we thought we’d introduce them through our #TeamSnappersTalk series.

Meet Lavie Sak, a product manager focusing mainly on teams. When he’s not relaying his infectious passion for the product, Sak spends much of his free time adventuring with his wife and newborn in Atlanta, and the rest of it coaching and playing tennis.

What do you love about working at TeamSnap?

I love the passion everyone has for the product and the commitment to supporting youth sports. As a coach, I know firsthand how team activities have the potential to shape and improve lives. TeamSnap helps streamline everything for young athletes and their coaches, which can make it a lot easier to focus on enjoying games.

What are you looking for in a new team member?

Someone who is a go-getter with an entrepreneurial spirit. One of the benefits here is that most positions can work remotely–yet that means someone needs to be able to take the initiative and really execute their ideas. We’re a team of smart self-starters.

Tell me about your best day at TeamSnap.

That would be when the first features I had a hand in went live. It’s always exciting to see projects you initiate come to fruition and go live in the app. It’s fun, too, when I’m talking to my friends who use the app, and I can say, “Oh yeah, I helped with that feature!” This recently happened again when we introduced our message dashboard and team chat enhancements. It’s always fun.

What made you want to join TeamSnap?

I really enjoy the fast-paced, remote culture. It keeps you engaged and on your toes. It’s a great place to work in sports, too!

Do you also love working in sports and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment? Check out our current openings at https://teamsnap.applytojob.com/apply
