About you
I graduated from William & Mary with a BBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 2020 and joined Venture for America, a fellowship program that trains recent graduates and places them in startups in emerging cities. I’m passionate about leveraging entrepreneurship to make a positive impact on communities. In my free time, I enjoy knitting, cycling, and baking!
Where you’re from
I’m originally from Richmond, Virginia and I currently live in Philadelphia.
FUN FACT
I’m in the top 1% of Beatles fans on Spotify.
Favorite youth sports memory
Every summer growing up, I went to dance camp with my Scottish dance studio. It was a bunch of us in a house on a lake dancing all day and doing fun camp activities. I loved the bonding experience and chance to be active.
Background/Career highlights
I founded a nonprofit called Miles of Scarves in 2009. We knit and sell scarves to raise money for multiple sclerosis research. Through this experience, I’ve learned the ins and outs of sponsorships from the nonprofit side, so I’m looking forward to applying that knowledge from a different perspective. Also, I previously worked as an Outreach Manager for a contact center, so I have experience serving as the bridge between clients and an organization.
WHY YOU JOINED LEAGUESIDE
I joined LeagueSide because the mission of making youth sports more accessible is really important. I also wanted to work in a social impact startup to merge my background in nonprofits with my interest in entrepreneurship. I’m excited to be working with such a passionate and driven team doing great work!
(S)CORE VALUE MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU
Obsess over customers! As a client success manager, this one is kind of obvious, but I believe doing good should be easy and rewarding, so focusing on how to optimize the client experience is key. Additionally, sponsors and leagues are very busy, so I want to make things go as smoothly as possible for them.
